ParkRoyal Parramatta

– Choose the right hotel for optimum happiness and relaxation

Tripadvisor review

We recently made our way down to Sydney for the Anthony Robbins which you can see in our 5 Part review series of ‘Change your life for the better’.

One of the most important things for us when travelling is to stay in a nice hotel. Tresne is addicted to staying in nice hotels, which is actually a funny thing to be addicted to! Choosing the right hotel can be a tricky thing. Luckily whist doing the Tony Robbins event at Sydney Olympic Park we opted to stay in nearby Parramatta. With Parramatta being the geographical centre of Sydney, I couldn’t think of a better place to stay!

We chose the ParkRoyal Parramatta, with it’s fantastic ratings on Tripadvisor and only a 10 minute drive to Sydney Olympic Park. The stunning lobby stimulates the visual senses with its amazing contemporary furniture and abstract chandelier that catches the eye every time you pass by.

Being in the Parramatta CBD we were spoilt for restaurant options. There were so many great restaurants to choose from but after the longs days at the seminar we ended up heading downstairs to Bar 30 for a few delicious snacks and cocktails before retiring to bed.

We stayed in the Superior Corner Room. The room was spaciously bright and airy and on arrival we were left complimentary bottle of red, this went down nicely! The king size bed, we would say, was one of the most comfortable king size beds we’d ever slept in. We have actually even tried to buy the same pillows since staying there…no luck so far!

Now to the most important part of any hotel…the  buffet breakfast. This factor will make or break any place! Luckily the breakfast was amazing!  With breakfast being the most important meal of the day, you need to nourish your body after a big night’s sleep.

ParkRoyal offers freshly made fruit and vegetable juice, plus a large selection of fruit and salad. A delicious range of pastries, even gluten free options for the gluten intolerant!!! Then, last but definitely not least, a vast selection of hot breakfast, eggs, made to order, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, hash browns, tomatoes…the list goes on…my mouth is now watering!

We loved our time staying at the ParkRoyal. The staff were warm and friendly, the service was fantastic, we will definitely be back soon!

Thanks for having us ParkRoyal :)
